More than 1,000 illegal aliens have been arrested in the Chicago area since the launch of Operation Midway Blitz less than a month ago.
Federal authorities descended upon the sanctuary city at the start of an illegal immigration crackdown set in motion on Sept. 8 amid a wave of lawlessness fueled by the Biden border invasion.
Officers and agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) are primarily targeting criminal illegal aliens, including pedophiles, child abusers, kidnappers, gang members, and armed robbers as part of the administration’s “worst of the worst” agenda.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released information on some of the most dangerous aliens captured over the past four weeks.

Pedro Avendano Andres
Nationality: Mexico
Criminal history: domestic battery, causing a circumstance that would endanger a child, aggravated battery
Marco Geronimo Ocampo
Nationality: Mexico
Criminal history: domestic battery, armed robbery, possession of drug paraphernalia, damage to property, criminal sexual assault, kidnapping, criminal sexual abuse by force
Mohamed Fagel
Nationality: Mauritania
Criminal history: disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting law enforcement, battery against a public official, robbery
Erick Rios
Criminal history: confirmed MS-13 gang member, consumption of liquor by a minor, violating a bail bond, criminal damage to property, mob action, a conviction for DUI, final order of removal
Ludwing Jeanpier Parra-Perez
Criminal history: confirmed Tren de Aragua gang member
“During Operation Midway Blitz, our brave DHS law enforcement has made more than 1,000 arrests across Illinois including of pedophiles, child abusers, kidnappers, gang members, and armed robbers,” DHS Assistant Sec. Tricia McLaughlin stated.
“Our patriotic law enforcement officers are making these arrests despite working without pay because of the Democrats’ shutdown. President Trump and Secretary Noem will not allow continued violence or repeat offenders to terrorize our neighborhoods and victimize our children.”
Many apprehensions during Operation Midway Blitz have gone sideways as criminal illegals have assaulted agents while attempting to escape.
This week, two illegal aliens were captured following separate vehicular assaults on federal authorities just hours apart in the Chicago area.
