More than 21,000 migrants have arrived on small boats across the English Channel since January, the Home Office has confirmed.
Yesterday, 408 people arrived on nine boats, bringing the 2024 total to 21,063 – some 1,758 people over the past seven days.
Since Sir Keir Starmer entered Downing Street, 7,477 people have made the crossing – an average of 131 people per day.
