An illegal alien from Guatemala is in custody after he allegedly attempted to abduct an Amish woman at knifepoint in rural Pennsylvania last week, authorities say.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just provided Border Hawk with immigration background on Junior Jose Davila Moran, 26.

The harrowing incident unfolded at around 4 p.m. on Oct. 14 in Sadsbury Township.

A 23-year-old Amish woman was doing yard work when she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to find a man holding a serrated knife and handcuffs, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by the Pennsylvania State Police.

The woman told authorities she yelled and used a weed whacker to scare the suspect, who ran behind a barn and fled on foot.

She ran to a neighbor’s house to contact police and told them the man had attempted to kidnap her.

Investigators reportedly located the suspect’s pickup truck using a trail camera and traced it to Davila Moran, a resident of sanctuary New Jersey.

Davila Moran was taken into custody in New Jersey, where police reportedly found handcuffs in his vehicle.

He is expected to face felony kidnapping charges and misdemeanor charges of false imprisonment, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime with intent to use, and terroristic threats.

Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer against Davila Moran with the Lancaster County Jail.

“In January 2018, Border Patrol arrested Davila Moran in Donna, Texas after he illegally entered the country. He was transferred to the Office of Refugee Resettlement custody due to being a juvenile,” DHS told us.

Davila Morgan is currently in extradition proceedings, according to the latest available updates.
