An illegal alien from Guatemala has been arrested for allegedly raping a child in Florida, according to reports.
On Monday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) apprehended Deiner Monzon Chilel on multiple counts of sexual assault against a minor.
Monzon Chilel, 18, is known under various aliases, including Deyner Monzon, Deyner Chilel and Deyner Chilel Monzon, an arrest report reviewed by Villages News indicates.
The report states that the child’s mother walked in on Monzon Chilel “having sexual intercourse” with the male juvenile at their residence at around 8 p.m. on Thursday night, although it is unclear what relationship the suspect has with the victim’s family or why he was in their home.
An “unknown person” picked the Guatemalan up and drove him away to an “unknown location.”
The victim’s family reportedly speaks limited English, so they notified their pastor about the incident and he alerted local authorities.
During an interview with investigators, the victim indicated he had been violated on at least one additional occasion by the suspect, who allegedly forced the boy to do “adult things” with him.
“Law enforcement performed multiple database searches for Chilel, who immigrated from Guatemala in 2022, but were unable to find any associated government ID, such as a driver’s license, passport or Social Security number. The Department of Homeland Security was also unable to find any immigration information listed for him,” Villages News reports.

Monzon Chilel was hit with two charges of sexual assault by a suspect 18 years or older against a victim younger than 18 but older than 12 and ordered held on $50,000 bond for each charge.
Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has issued a detainer for the Guatemalan.

He is due back in court on July 15 and an investigation is ongoing.
