A massive group of would-be thieves were repelled by an armed jewelry shop owner in the sanctuary state of California, according to reports.
The shocking incident unfolded in broad daylight on Thursday in Anaheim.
Surveillance footage shows masked bandits carrying a variety of weapons and tools jump out of at least five vehicles and swarm the entrance.

One of the suspects can be seen bashing the front door with a pickaxe.
Suddenly, a disturbance sends them all fleeing back to the cars and speeding away.
The owner of the business, who asked not to be identified, told local media he fired a warning shot from inside the store at the bulletproof glass.
“Listen, with this, I had 15 seconds,” said the owner. “I don’t think nothing between just one thing: I have to protect myself and my store.”
“When I do first shot, to scare. I don’t want to hurt anybody. But when [they] move and run, I relaxed.”
Anaheim police say they are investigating but no arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.
The same group may have also hit The RealReal luxury resale store in Santa Monica last week, witness footage indicates.
