Denver Sees 58% Drop in Homicides Amid Stricter Immigration Policies and Crime Crackdown

A tougher approach on immigration and crime is yielding significant results in Denver, with the city experiencing a 58% drop in homicides during the first three months of 2025 compared to the same period last year.

Nearby Aurora also reported a 36% decline in homicides, according to new data from the Major Cities Chiefs Association, as reported by Breitbart.

This decline is attributed in large part to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s crackdown on the Tren de Aragua gang members, who had been causing chaos in the area.

The Trump administration prioritized Denver for immigration removals and acted swiftly upon taking office.
