A Venezuelan illegal alien unleashed into the U.S. by the Biden regime has been charged with committing heinous crimes against a child in his care in Montana, Border Hawk can exclusively report.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just released immigration details on Wualter Jesus Travieso Soto, a 29-year-old male who has been held in the Flathead County Detention Center since February.
In May 2025, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) launched an investigation into Travieso Soto after receiving disturbing information and evidence from his deceased girlfriend’s sister.
After the girlfriend died in a car accident in 2024, Travieso Soto reportedly took custody of her three children, who were not related to him.
The children’s aunt fought for legal guardianship of the kids, but he reportedly prevented her from seeing them and even sought a restraining order against her.
The aunt became concerned about his relationship with the children after seeing photos of him kissing and holding the eldest girl “in a romantic manner,” according to court documents.
Travieso Soto reportedly showered the child in gifts and flowers and commented on her social media posts with heart emojis.
After the aunt gained guardianship over the children, her eldest niece stated that Travieso Soto had raped her on multiple occasions and had even choked her while she was on the phone with a boy, investigators say.
FCSO was reportedly provided with photos and videos depicting Travieso Soto making inappropriate physical contact with the child, and following a forensic interview with the victim, he was arrested on Feb. 1.
Travieso Soto has been charged with sexual intercourse without consent with a child under 16 and strangulation of a partner or family member and is being held on $200,000 bail.
Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer against Travieso Soto, who illegally entered the U.S. in 2023 and was released by the Biden administration.
“This monster repeatedly raped the child of his dead girlfriend. He now faces felony charges of sexual intercourse without consent with a child under 16. He would not be in this country in the first place if it weren’t for the Biden Administration’s disastrous catch and release policies that allowed him into our country,” said DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“ICE is asking officials in Montana to turn this perverted criminal over to ICE custody so that we can get him off our streets and out of our country. With cooperation from our local partners, we will ensure this predator NEVER harms another innocent child.”
