Germany’s migrant crime crisis continues to make headlines nearly every single day. Now, after a double murder, two Turkish citizens are under arrest. However, the man police believe actually pulled the trigger and killed the two victims is still being sought by police.
The arrests occurred in the Main-Kinzig of Hanau, and involved police searches of the homes of two men, aged 31 and 36. Police believe the two were connected to the murder of a 59-year-old man and his 28-year-old son-in-law, who are both Turkish citizens, which occurred on Friday in front of a building in the spa town of Bad Nauheim.
Both victims died after being shot multiple times, according to an autopsy report.
On Monday morning, the Friedberg District Court ordered an arrest warrant for the two arrested suspects on suspicion of incitement to murder, according to German newspaper FAZ. Both men are also Turkish citizens and have no arrest history in Germany, but prosecutors believe they ordered the killing. Both men have remained silent and refused to speak to police.
