Guatemalan Illegal Arrested for Child Rape After 12-Year-Old Victim Gives Birth in Alabama

An illegal alien from Guatemala has been arrested for horrific sex crimes against a preteen victim after she gave birth to his child in Alabama, according to reports.

On Tuesday, 26-year-old Manuel Andres Francisco Tomas was apprehended by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office (MSCO) and charged with first-degree rape.

The Marshall County Criminal Investigations Division was alerted after a 12-year-old girl gave birth at a local hospital.

Investigators have already matched the newborn’s DNA to that of the suspect, 1819 News reports.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer for Francisco Tomas with the MCSO Detention Center.

“An innocent child’s life has been forever changed because our nation has failed to secure its borders and enforce immigration laws,” Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-AL) said.

“This is exactly why President Trump has directed ICE to focus on removing illegal immigrants who have committed—or are committing—violent crimes. We must protect our communities and prevent tragedies like this. No family should have to suffer due to Washington’s inaction on illegal immigration.”

An investigation is ongoing and the Guatemalan could face additional charges.
