A high-ranking Salvadoran terrorist wanted for murder has been deported yet again after being allowed to “try and game our immigration system” by the Biden regime, according to authorities.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just announced the removal of Wilmer Alexy Garcia-Manzanarez, an illegal alien with a significant criminal and deportation history in the U.S.
“The removal of Garcia-Manzanarez comes shortly after DHS launched Operation Patriot and Operation Patriot 2.0 in Massachusetts, a sanctuary state,” DHS explained in a press release.
“The worst of the worst arrested during these operations include rapists, murderers, kidnappers, and other terrorist gang members. Shockingly, many of these dangerous criminals were released by local authorities thanks to absurd sanctuary policies.”
In 2001, Garcia-Manzanarez illegally crossed the Canadian border and was released into the country for reasons that remain unclear.
In 2002, a federal immigration judge ordered him removed from the U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported him three times between 2007 and 2012, but he illegally reentered the country yet again at an unspecified location and date.
El Salvador issued a warrant for the arrest of Garcia-Manzanarez on murder charges, and INTERPOL issued a Red Notice for him in 2020.
Garcia-Manzanarez was apprehended by ICE Boston in February 2024 in Foxboro, MA, but was allowed to contest his deportation “by claiming fear of returning to El Salvador where he had an outstanding warrant for murder,” DHS says.
“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, the days of the world’s criminals gaming the system to remain in our country are over.”
Garcia-Manzanarez was turned over to Salvadoran authorities on Nov. 3.
In February, the State Department designated Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
