An illegal alien released into the U.S. by the Biden regime has been arrested after he allegedly caused a fatal multiple-vehicle wreck while driving a tractor-trailer under the influence in California this week, authorities say.
The catastrophic collision unfolded on Tuesday afternoon in Ontario.
A semi-truck driven by 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh slammed into stopped vehicles on Interstate 10 without making any attempt to brake, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Dash cam footage obtained by KABC reportedly shows Singh’s semi-truck crash into the back of an SUV, pushing it into a pickup truck and passenger car before rear-ending another big rig.

Singh’s tractor appears to catch fire as it careens off the road and strikes another 18-wheeler parked on the side of the highway.
Three people were killed and four others hospitalized with serious injuries, and eight vehicles were damaged in the pileup.
Singh was “transported to the hospital, and he was checked out by the medical staff, and our officers determined he was driving under the influence of drugs,” said CHP Officer Rodrigo Jimenez.
Singh is being held in a San Bernardino County jail without bail on charges of Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated and Driving Under Influence of Drugs Causing Bodily Injury.
Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer for Singh with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, but it is unclear if it will be honored, as California is a sanctuary state.
Singh illegally crossed the southern border into California in 2022. He was caught by U.S. Border Patrol and then released into the U.S.

“It is a terrible tragedy three innocent people lost their lives due to the reckless open border policies that allowed an illegal alien to be released into the U.S. and drive an 18-wheeler on America’s highways,” said Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
“This accident follows a disturbing trend of illegal aliens driving 18 wheelers and semi-trucks on America’s roads. Earlier this week, DHS highlighted another fatal accident in Indiana caused by an illegal alien driving a semi-truck. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE is working day-in and day-out to make America’s roads safe again.”
Singh is due in court on Thursday amid an ongoing investigation.
