Indian Illegal Chews Toddler’s Face During Shocking Attack at Texas Lake – DHS

UPDATE: The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed that Atharva Vyas is an illegal alien from India.

“Vyas first entered the country in August 2023 on a student visa. Just three months after his entry, he was arrested at the University of Texas campus for felony assault. The University of Texas Police contacted ICE. And yet, the Biden Administration determined this crime was not “egregious” enough to warrant visa revocation and decided to take no enforcement action against Vyas.” – DHS

A young girl and her mother are recovering from a vicious, unprovoked attack launched at a Texas lake by a suspect who is in the country illegally, according to reports.

The disturbing incident unfolded on Saturday afternoon in San Antonio.

Gabriella Perez, 27, and her 3-year-old daughter were fishing at Espada Park when a male suspect emerged from a wooded area and ambushed them, local media reports.

Perez says she attempted to flee with her daughter, but the suspect yanked her hair, causing her to fall and drop the child.

The desperate mother said the suspect tried to gouge her eyes with his fingers as she fought him off, then he grabbed the toddler and began biting her face.

“I got up and was like this is like a f**king zombie movie. Like what the heck,” Perez said.

Good Samaritans intervened and restrained the suspect until police arrived and took him into custody.

Another person who had reportedly come to the park with the assailant indicated that they had been doing drugs, potentially a “wax” of some variety.

The suspect was identified as 24-year-old Atharva Vyas.

“Vyas was arrested and charged with injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury, assault causing bodily injury and illegal entry from a foreign nation,” KSAT reports.

The child suffered serious injuries to her face and lost two teeth in the attack, according to her family.

While authorities have released very little information about Vyas, social media users have speculated that he may be from India.
