Indiana Police Leaked Details About ‘Mass Deportation Rally’ Amid Failed Sabotage Campaign

An Indiana organization successfully executed a ‘first of its kind’ event in support of mass deportations this month, despite concerted efforts to derail the confab.

Save Heritage Indiana, a nonprofit launched in 2025, invited retired U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino to headline the private rally, which took place on Aug. 1 outside Indianapolis.

After multiple venues and security firms backed out of contracts due to threats and pressure from radical leftists, organizers secured a former Green Beret’s farm in the countryside where they were able to hold the gathering in peace.

“We were sharing our information with one of the police departments, and they leaked the information, so we stopped collaborating with local police, which increased the danger,” Save Heritage Indiana co-founder Daniel Poynter told Border Hawk in a new interview.

“We had hundreds of applications. We required character references. We only gave the address to 150 people, and of those, 130 showed up.”

Poynter says many applications from subversives, infiltrators, and enemy media were denied.

Left-wing activists organized a sizable protest in the city of Fishers, where they believed the rally was going to be held, not knowing deportation enthusiasts were congregating some 45 miles away in Colfax.

Poynter said immigration patriots in many other states have reached out to his organization to voice their support and express interest in hosting similar events.

“The Overton Window has shifted so much since we started last October,” Poynter said.

“We need to convert talk into action, and I think we are going to do that. But the stakes are pretty high.”
