A previously-deported illegal alien with a rap sheet has been arrested for allegedly throwing an incendiary bomb at law enforcement during riots in Southern California this weekend, authorities say.
Emiliano Garduno-Galvez, a Mexican national who has been removed from the U.S. at least once before, was apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Monday.
Garduno-Galvez was caught on camera tossing a Molotov cocktail during a violent ‘protest’ in Los Angeles on Saturday, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
DHS published footage of the incident on Wednesday morning.

The Mexican has previously been arrested in several cities in the sanctuary state of California for grand theft and driving under the influence.
He is now facing attempted murder charges, DHS says.
“These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Bill Melugin of Fox News.
“The Los Angeles rioters will not stop us or slow us down. And if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
An investigation is ongoing.
