Retired U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino spent a day with Border Hawk visiting key locations across the Charlotte area and sharing highlights from Operation Charlotte’s Web, which he led in November 2025.
More than 370 illegal aliens were arrested in North Carolina over five days, despite significant opposition from open-borders militants, vehicle rammings and attacks on federal agents, and even an apparent attempt on Bovino’s life.

“The whole spectrum of violence was being brought to bear. We have to remember the anarchists and rioters that are funded by [left-wing] organizations – they were also bringing firearms and lethal capabilities into every single theater of operations,” Bovino stated regarding the broader national campaign.
“It was definitely the most violent law enforcement mission to date in U.S. history.”
