“Slay Republicans” – Refugee Serving in Michigan Legislature Posted Disturbing Videos Days Before Charlie Kirk Assassination

A state official in Michigan posted several videos inviting supporters to “slay Republicans” with her in the days before the murder of Christian conservative icon Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10.

Rep. Mai Xiong (D), a Hmong refugee whose family was welcomed to the U.S. as asylum seekers when she was 3 years old, has served in the Michigan legislature since winning a special election in 2024.

On Sept. 7, Rep. Xiong uploaded a video to TikTok showing her preparing soup.

“Slay Ancient Hmong Chicken Soup Recipe—and Republicans, with me,” a description on the video states.

“Hey guys it’s the weekend so I’m not at work but being ‘Nyab’ I’m always ready for any battle against Republicans. What’s a ‘Nyab’ you say? It’s being a good loyal daughter in law and wife that Republicans pretend to want to but have no respect for a woman who knows how to cook, clean, and take care of herself and her babies all at the same time,” captions on Xiong’s video read.

“Always looking flawless because you never know who’s going to knock on the door or show up unannounced like that annoying uncle who can’t stop talking about Trump.”

Xiong proceeds to unsheathe and sharpen a large knife which she refers to as “my sword” before using it to chop the head off a chicken.

“I pull out the insides and toss it in the trash like listening to the garbage they spew is the most disgusting thing ever,” Xiong’s captions continue.

Roughly 72 hours after the video was shared, Kirk was assassinated in front of a large audience at Utah Valley University.

“MI House Speaker Matt Hall has previously described Mai Xiong as a ‘very low IQ representative.’ Posting this disturbing ‘slay Republicans’ video proves that the Rep. Xiong is unfit for public office and should be investigated by the FBI,” former Emmet County Commissioner Izzy Lyman told InfoWars.

Earlier this month, Xiong posted another video with similar messaging.

“Hey guys, get ready with me for another day to slay Republicans,” the description reads.

“This is how I get ready in the morning to slay Republicans,” Xiong states in the captions while referring to her curling iron as a “sword.”

Xiong has a history of using extremist rhetoric to disparage Trump supporters, Republican colleagues, and traditional American values.
