Stunning POV Footage Shows Border Agents Escaping California “War Zone”

A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agent was injured when left-wing insurrectionists pelted his vehicle with rocks during widespread chaos in California on Saturday.

Chaos broke out as a large group of ‘protesters’ confronted federal authorities conducting immigration enforcement operations in Paramount, a city in Los Angeles County.

As CBP vehicles were making their way past the violent mob, suspects began hurling rocks, inflicting substantial damage.

Stunning footage shot from inside an official vehicle shows the windshield being shattered.

One agent suffered a laceration to his hand during the assault, prompting a response from U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks.

“Just one rock made it through the windshield and caused injury. Imagine if more had followed. This incident is a stark reminder of the real dangers our agents face every day. Thankfully, it wasn’t worse — but it easily could’ve been,” Chief Banks stated.

A source on the ground in Paramount described the scene as a “war zone” as authorities discharged flashbangs and fired non-lethal rounds at the rioters.

“Federal law enforcement operations are proceeding as planned this weekend in Los Angeles County. I urge the public to refrain from interfering with these lawful actions. Anyone who obstructs federal agents will face arrest and prosecution,” warned Bill Essayli, U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California.

Essayli later announced that more than a dozen agitators were arrested amid the mayhem.
