A male illegal alien with a shocking criminal history has been arrested for sexually assaulting a juvenile in Florida last week, authorities say.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has provided Border Hawk with immigration background on Uriel Santiago Perez, a 38-year-old Mexican national.
On Oct 6, Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) deputies responded to a reported sexual battery at a residence in North Fort Myers.
Earlier that day, a ‘woman’ had received a scheduled tour of the home, which was for sale.
A male resident and his young son were reportedly showing the ‘woman’ around when ‘she’ sequestered the child in a bathroom while his father was outside smoking a cigarette.
The ‘female’ suspect proceeded to bare ‘her’ breasts and forcibly perform oral sex on the child, according to court documents.
The victim told his father about the attack and law enforcement was immediately notified.
“Before leaving, Santiago Perez told the victim to meet at the end of the road. Responding deputies located Santiago Perez exactly where the victim was instructed to go,” LCSO explained in a press release.
Santiago Perez was arrested and charged with sexual battery of a victim between the ages of 12 and 18 years old.
Despite presenting as a woman, Santiago Perez is a biological male, as confirmed in his booking information.
“On October 7, ICE lodged a detainer with the Lee County Jail against Uriel Santiago Perez, a 38-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico with a criminal history including felony first degree sexual assault of person 12 years or younger, prostitution, keeping a place of prostitution, falsifying identification documents, shoplifting, and driving without a license,” a DHS spokesperson told Border Hawk.
“Perez illegally entered the United States at an unknown place and time. When he was arrested for prostitution in 2013, the Obama administration decided not to pursue a detainer against him because he was not considered a ‘priority,’ despite being illegally present and breaking our laws.”
