The Trump administration is working around the clock to track down hundreds of thousands of foreign children who fell off the radar after being trafficked or smuggled into the U.S. under the Biden regime.
On Friday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that roughly 13,000 of these minors have been located so far.
“In March 2025, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) identified a backlog of more than 65,000 reports regarding children who came across the border unaccompanied that were ignored during the Biden administration,” DHS said.
HHS immediately “stood up a triage center and modernized outdated software systems” in order to rapidly analyze these reports, 59,000 of which have been processed to date.
More than 4,000 leads involving fraud, human trafficking, and other criminal activity are being probed in connection with these reports.
DHS detailed a handful of the most disturbing cases investigators have tackled recently, which include children in bondage, underage girls impregnated by foreign adults, and minors living alone in squalid conditions without food.

“The evil of human trafficking cannot be overstated. It’s modern-day slavery. By leaving our borders open and even encouraging people to come here illegally, Biden enabled the largest human-trafficking operation in modern history,” said DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
“We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to eradicate human trafficking operations targeting the United States. Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, and working together at every level of government, we can win this fight. And we will.”
While the number of Biden’s missing migrant children has been understood to be roughly 300,000, DHS advisor Stephen Miller revealed that figure is closer to 450,000.
