A Honduran suspect arrested for fatally running over a child in Idaho last week has been identified as an illegal alien who reportedly crossed the southern border as an ‘unaccompanied minor’ under the Obama administration.
As we previously reported, an 8-year-old girl was hit by a suspect driving a pickup truck in a residential neighborhood in Boise on Nov. 11.
Mora Gerety was walking through an intersection when she was struck and killed at around 4:30 p.m. that afternoon.
The Boise Police Department detained the driver, who has been identified as Elvin Ramos-Caballero.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) quickly took custody of Ramos-Caballero, whose background has now been made public.

ICE says the Honduran national illegally crossed the southern border in 2015 into Hidalgo, Texas.
He was released into the country with a notice to appear before a federal immigration judge in 2016, but failed to attend his hearing and was ordered removed from the U.S.
Ramos-Caballero remains in ICE custody.
“This tragedy was preventable because every crime committed by an illegal alien is a crime that could have been prevented. Communities across the United States are reckoning with this problem—many that are dealing with the consequences of mass immigration really for the first time,” Theo Wold, former Idaho solicitor general, Border Hawk.
“Immigration enforcement should be a priority at every level of government, for every official because protecting Americans is their most important duty.”
An investigation is ongoing.
Illegal alien drivers continue to destroy American lives on a near-daily basis.
