Authorities arrested a Chinese suspect who allegedly killed another woman with a Samurai-style sword in California, according to reports.
The horrifying incident unfolded on Thursday afternoon in San Dimas, a city in Los Angeles County.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) was called to an intersection where a bloodied woman was brandishing a sword, KTLA reports.
Footage of her arrest has been circulating on social media.

The female suspect can be seen wandering in the road with the large blade in hand.
When deputies pull up and point their firearms at her, she drops the sword on the ground and surrenders.
“That female then directs them to a residence on the street where the deputies find an additional female also suffering from lacerations, who was later pronounced dead at the scene,” LASD Lt. Daniel Vizcarra explained during a news conference.
“As they continued through the residence, an additional female was found in the residence unharmed, who was also transferred to a local hospital due to a medical emergency.”
Authorities believe a domestic dispute may have led to the homicide, but obtaining preliminary information was difficult because all parties involved only spoke Mandarin Chinese.
An investigation is ongoing.
