A mob of left-wing agitators trespassed the home of a Michigan state representative this weekend and demanded she abandon support for a raft of bills cracking down on illegal immigration and sanctuary cities.
On Saturday, the group — some of whom were wearing masks and disturbing outfits — gathered at the private residence of Rep. Angela Rigas, a Republican who represents Michigan’s 79th district.
“Today, far left extremist protestors unlawfully trespassed on my property in an attempt to intimidate and harass me for co-sponsoring a package of bills aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration,” Rep. Rigas wrote in a Facebook post.
“When extremists don’t get their way, this is the kind of abhorrent behavior they resort to, and I will NOT cave to their insane demands. I will ALWAYS prioritize the safety of American citizens over dangerous illegal criminals!”
Rigas said she filed a report with the Kent County Sheriff’s Department that includes Ring doorbell footage which was also released to Michigan news outlet The Midwesterner.

“No hate. No fear. Immigrants are welcome here,” the horde chanted while standing at the entrance of Rigas’ driveway before several individuals climbed onto her porch and rang her doorbell.

They eventually used duct tape to affix a large sign to Rigas’ front door.

“We demand that you retract your co-sponsorship of Michigan House Bills 4336, 4337, 4338, 4339, and 4342, all of which will increase the terrorism by ICE agents and criminalize anyone who shows any compassion or demonstrates any solidarity with undocumented immigrants,” the handwritten sign read.
“Shame on you for co-sponsoring these abhorrent bills. We are giving you the opportunity to change your position and support undocumented immigrants by signing this document.”
One woman can be seen flipping the bird at Rigas’ camera on her way off the porch.
Some of the bills in question would ban the creation of sanctuaries for illegal aliens at the local and counties levels while others establish penalties for smuggling or harboring illegals in Michigan.
A Grand Rapids-based “Rapid Response to ICE” group commended members for participating in a “Tour of Shame” that included Saturday’s stop at the Rigas home.
Open borders radicals and illegal aliens have grown increasingly brazen in their resistance to immigration law enforcement across the U.S.
