Texas authorities busted a pair of boys who were guiding illegal aliens into the U.S.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) just released footage of the interception, which unfolded on June 11 in Hidalgo County.

A drawbridge camera near Mission picked up several individuals crossing the Rio Grande from Mexico.

A TxDPS brush team dispatched to the area to investigate and a K-9 quickly led officers into tall grasses where four border hoppers were hiding.

Two members of the group were identified as 14-year-old Mexican citizens who were working as smuggling guides.

“When it comes to juveniles, they’re not going to be processed federally,” TxDPS Trooper Casarez explained.

“That’s why it’s very important for us to work in collaboration with U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) so we can charge these juveniles who are smuggling these groups.”

Both teens were charged with smuggling of persons and the illegals were turned over to USBP for processing.

The Trump administration recently announced that there have been zero releases of illegal border crossers for 13 consecutive months.
