A brazen illegal alien fought off a U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agent during a recent smuggling bust in a Texas border town, according to reports.
The shocking incident unfolded in Starr County on June 26, but authorities just released footage and details on Friday.
When a Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) trooper encountered a suspicious a Ford SUV in a residential neighborhood, the driver immediately took evasive action.

The ensuing pursuit ended quickly as the driver and occupants suddenly bailed out and fled on foot.
Arriving USBP agents can be seen chasing the suspects, with one agent collaring a male illegal in a driveway.
As the agent attempted to restrain the man, he fought back, ultimately slipping out of his shirt and running away.
“USBP Agents arrived on the scene and assisted in apprehending 7 illegal immigrants from Mexico,” TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez explained in a statement.
“One of the illegal immigrants refused to cooperate and resisted arrest against one of the agents but was ultimately arrested.”
The driver was identified as Macedonio Rios, a Mexican national who has been living illegally in Roma, Texas.
Rios was charged with evading arrest and smuggling of persons.
