70 Migrants Show Up in Small Polish Town as Residents Blame Germany

Groups of several dozen men from outside Europe are roaming around Zambrów County, according to Telewizja wPolsce24’s Stanisław Pyrzanowski, who spoke to terrified local residents and councilors.

Concerns have been raised due to migrants placed in the Centre of the Office for Foreigners in Czerwony Bór, says Pyrzanowski. “Women are afraid to go out after dark, children do not go out like they used to,” he said, adding that young girls now feel that their parents must walk them to the bus stop.

At stake are 70 migrants who were reportedly brought to the center in Czerwony Bór, according to unofficial information.

Another resident also claimed they are afraid to walk home at night. “I often come back in the evening. Right now I’m scared because there’s a forest around,” the local told the wPolsce24 reporter.
