The Minnesota Timberwolves held a moment of silence for Alex Pretti, the leftist agitator who was killed during a skirmish with federal immigration agents in Minneapolis on Saturday.
During the pregame shoot-around ahead of Sunday night’s NBA contest between the Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors, the lights were turned off in the Target Center and a photograph of Pretti was presented on the scoreboard.
“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Alex Pretti that occurred yesterday in Minneapolis,” an announcer stated. “We extend our love, support, and heartfelt sympathies to Alex’s family, friends, and our community during this difficult time.”
“Please join us in honoring the life and memory of Alex Pretti with a moment of silence.”
