Federal immigration authorities used a facility in Louisiana to remove 100,000 illegal aliens in just over nine months.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) provided Border Hawk with an exclusive statement about the milestone, which was reached in early July.

Between Oct. 1, 2025, and July 8, 2026, a total of 101,143 illegal aliens were deported from the U.S. via the Alexandria Staging Facility, located at the Alexandria International Airport in Rapides Parish.

ICE New Orleans has overseen the removals, the vast majority of which were executed by air.

Mario Humberto Caal-Chop, a Guatemalan national, became the 100,000 deportee on July 8, alongside 500 other illegals who were expelled that day.

Caal-Chop, 29, was arrested by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Philadelphia during a vehicle stop on May 19 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

On June 23, a federal immigration judge granted Caal-Chop voluntary departure and he was flown to Guatemala on an ICE Air charter flight weeks later.

“This milestone reflects the dedication and professionalism of our officers and staff across the ICE Air Operations network,” said ERO New Orleans acting Field Office Director Scott Ladwig.

“Our mission is to uphold the integrity of our nation’s immigration system while ensuring the safety of our communities.”
