Patty Morin, whose daughter Rachel was killed by an illegal alien in Maryland, slammed sanctuary policies and the politicians enabling them in a recent interview.
“I place all the blame on the Biden Administration and those that were in a position where they could’ve stopped it, or they could’ve closed the borders, or they could’ve vetted these individuals that came in,” Morin said on the Immigration Reform Law Institute’s No Border, No Country podcast.
“Biden’s administration and their policies allowed [Rachel’s killer] to enter the country, allowed them to freely travel throughout the country, and then allowed them to commit crimes … It’s a terrible thing that Biden has done and it has cost so many American lives … so many.”
Addressing the lack of response from politicians in her own state, Morin blasted Maryland Senator Van Hollen: “He didn’t want to acknowledge that my daughter’s death was because of illegal immigration because then that means that the legislators in the state of Maryland are responsible for these illegal immigrants and the crimes that they commit … In order for them to acknowledge, means that they also have to admit that they are wrong.”
Speaking on the support she has received from President Trump, Morin said: “It’s like a friendship … Despite his toughness, which is very much appreciated because we need a strong leader, he is also very kind, and he is very moved by the pain of the American citizen. He wants to do what he can to help and prevent this pain.”
Morin added: “He comes across as someone who genuinely cares, for me personally, and also the American citizen and his country.”
