Federal officers were forced to neutralize a dangerous illegal alien who violently resisted arrest while yelling Islamic battle cries in New York.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted a targeted operation on Nov. 5 in Tonawanda, a city in Erie County.
Officers observed a target driving a vehicle away from a residence and pulled him over.
After confirming the driver was Saim Irgi, an illegal alien from Turkey, they ordered him to exit the vehicle, but he refused, ICE explained in a press release on Tuesday.
Irgi then fought back against officers as they pulled him out and escorted him to the ground.
“Officers drew their tasers and informed Irgi multiple times that if he did not stop resisting, he would be tased. While attempting to place Irgi in custody, he grabbed onto an officer’s taser while screaming ‘Allahu Akbar,’ at which point another officer deployed their taser to gain control of Irgi,” ICE stated.
Irgi was placed in restraints and taken to Buffalo Federal Detention Facility for processing and detention.
The Turk illegally crossed the southern border in July 2023 near Jamul, CA.
He was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol then released into the country without any vetting.
On March 19, Irgi was arrested for assault in Pennsauken, NJ.
On April 4, his simple assault charge was dismissed but hours later he was arrested by the Philadelphia Police Department and charged with strangulation, simple assault, and recklessly endangering.

“Saim Irgi is a violent criminal offender and a significant public safety threat to the residents of western New York,” said ICE Buffalo acting Field Office Director Tammy Marich.
“The officers of ICE Buffalo will continue to work tirelessly to arrest and remove criminal illegal aliens from the United States.”
