Elite federal officers were deployed to crush an all-day riot in Minnesota after extremists continued to escalate dangerous tactics and ignore warnings to disperse.
On Thursday night, left-wing militants began attacking vehicles departing the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building.
Drivers entering and exiting the complex were forced to navigate a gauntlet of assailants who bashed and kicked vehicles and hurled projectiles.

When an agitator began opening doors of moving vehicles, federal authorities dropped the hammer, and tactical units were unleashed to drive out the mob.

ICE Special Response Teams stormed out of the complex and began making arrests, deploying tear gas and pepper spray, and ordering everyone to clear out.
