ICE Arrests Horde of Illegals at Job Site in Montana Resort Town

SHARE:

Federal immigration authorities rounded up a large number of illegal aliens at a construction site in a swank Montana enclave this month.

On Thursday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) highlighted a prior announcement that received very little attention at the time.

Acting on a tip, U.S. Border Patrol agents from Spokane Sector teamed up with ICE officers from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Kalispel to carry out a worksite enforcement operation in Bigfork, an upscale lake town in Flathead Valley.

During an inspection, authorities encountered 17 illegal aliens who were apparently working there.

The illegals were taken into custody, but it is unclear if their employer(s) will face prosecution.

Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino told local media his office was not involved in the operation, explaining that ICE was likely “running on its own system with civil warrants.”

On March 16, HSI Kalispel arrested another illegal alien for “possession w/intent to distribute fentanyl.”

Oscar Manzo-Garcia, 27, is a Mexican citizen who will be subject to deportation after his criminal charges are adjudicated.

Federal authorities continue to catch illegal aliens across Montana, including dangerous criminals and terrorists.
