An illegal alien has been charged with murder after he allegedly shot his partner to death in front of their children in Texas this week, according to reports.
The horrifying incident unfolded at around 9 a.m. on Sunday morning in Midland County.
Midland County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies were dispatched to a residence after a child dialed 911 to report that his dad was “beating up” his mom before calling back to say his mother had been shot, Your Basin reports.
Deputies arrived and found Hilda Belloc Aranda, 44, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspect, 47-year-old Aldo Isaac Aranda-Cortez, had already fled the scene.
MCSO issued a warrant for murder on Aranda-Cortez and he was eventually arrested on Tuesday in Martin County.
“Aranda-Cortez was found to be an illegal immigrant, and has been booked into Midland County Central Detention Center for murder with an immigration detainer,” MCSO announced on Wednesday.

Aranda-Cortez is being held on $1 million bond.
