An illegal alien was found to be carrying disturbing items at the time of his arrest in Southern California this week, authorities say.
On Wednesday, U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) announced the apprehension of the unidentified foreign male in Anaheim.
USBP El Centro Sector Chief Gregory Bovino explained that the man ignored commands to show his hands while reaching into a backpack.
“Agents quickly de-escalated the threat by deploying an electronic control device to swiftly and safely gain compliance,” Chief Bovino stated.

Inside the bag, agents found a realistic-looking air gun, fraudulent identification documents, and a phony law enforcement badge.
“Are these all things a hard-working illegal alien needs for a day labor job?” Bovino asked.
“Luckily for him and the public, our agents are highly trained, smart, and professional. Or this could have turned out very badly.”
Illegal aliens and radical leftists have become increasingly brazen in their resistance to immigration law enforcement.
Also on Wednesday, a suspect on probation was arrested for allegedly damaging a federal vehicle and ‘aggressively pursuing’ Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents after they conducted an inspection at his father’s tire shop in Humble, TX.
