Manhunt for Suspect Who Shot Two Portland Police Officers During Antifa Action at ICE Facility

Authorities are searching for a suspect who shot two law enforcement officers in Oregon on Monday evening.

The Portland Police Department (PPD) was alerted about an armed man issuing a threat in the Sullivan’s Gulch neighborhood.

Responding officers encountered a white male in his mid-30s who opened fire on them.

Two officers were rushed to a local hospital and are now in stable condition, PPD explained in a press release which included images of the suspect.

The suspect managed to escape on foot, despite officers establishing a perimeter around the area.

“The initial search for the individual who shot two PPB officers in the Sullivan’s Gulch Neighborhood has concluded. The suspect was not located. However, this remains an active investigation, and detectives are continuing to gather information and follow leads,” PPD announced just before 5:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday.

The shooting unfolded as an Antifa mob was engaged in trespassing at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland.

“Get shot! Get shot in the neck!” an extremist can be heard yelling at federal officers in footage published on X by independent journalist Guyer Digital.

Militants hurled projectiles at officers before their ‘demonstration’ was deemed an unlawful assembly and they were ordered to vacate the area.

Federal agents eventually began dragging leftists into the complex, presumably to place them under arrest.
