An illegal alien from Mexico has been charged with repeatedly sexually abusing a pre-teen girl in Ohio and filming the assaults on more than a dozen occasions.
On Wednesday, a federal grand jury indicted 26-year-old Victor Juarez on charges of raping a child under the age of 13 and pandering sexual material involving a juvenile, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced.
Authorities say Juarez sexually assaulted a 12-year-old victim on many occasions and filmed at least 13 of those encounters between October and November of 2024.
In February, Juarez was charged with rape and has been held at the Hamilton County Justice Center ever since.
The new federal charges will supersede the local charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Ohio.

The FBI has confirmed Juarez is in the U.S. illegally, although his immigration history remains unclear.
Juarez faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
