Mexico Sends 29 Suspected Narco Terrorists to Face Justice in US Amid Trump Tariff Pressure

SHARE:

Mexico has sent 29 cartel figures to the United States to face charges in districts around the country.

The mass extradition is the largest in years.

The decision follows ongoing threats by President Trump to impose across-the-board tariffs on Mexican goods, which he said would take effect on March 4.

Notable figures include two suspected former leaders of the Zetas, now called Cartel del Noreste (CDN) – Miguel Angel Trevino Morales, known as Z-40, and Oscar Omar Trevino Morales, known as Z-42.

Also included in the hand-off is Rafael Caro Quintero. The 72-year-old co-founded the Guadalajara Cartel and spent 28 years in prison for the brutal murder of a former DEA agent.
