“Why in the world would anybody, especially an elected official, not want to get violent criminals out of our country? I think the reality is that they are making a political play here. They know that these millions of illegal aliens who come into our country impact congressional apportionment, typically benefitting blue states at the expense of red states,” Rep. Gill told Border Hawk.
“Whenever Democrats all of a sudden start talking about due process to deport [illegals], all that is is creating procedural mechanisms to stop us from upholding laws that are already on the books… I think that’s why you see the courts trying to tie up these processes.”
