A migrant presumably bound for the U.S. was killed after being struck multiple times by a train in Mexico this week, according to reports.
Footage shared on social media by independent reporter John Ritchie, who runs IMPACTOVISION, shows a woman lying on railroad tracks as a train passes above her.
Bystanders can be seen trying to help her but are unable to do so without putting their own lives at risk as trains cars pass by.
“In her attempt to reach the border, a migrant is run over by the train,” Ritchie wrote alongside the video.

Suddenly, the woman is struck by part of a car and her body is carried forward.
Moments later, she is hit and dragged again as witnesses scream in horror.
Eventually, the train passes completely and onlookers rush to the woman’s aid.
“The notorious Beast (La Bestia) takes one more migrant [life],” immigration expert Auden Cabello wrote on X.
In March, an Indian woman was injured while jumping off a train while jumping off a train as it arrived to Buffalo, NY, from Canada.
Last year, U.S. Border Patrol agents rescued a female illegal whose legs were severed when she hopped off an international train in Del Rio, TX.
