Multiple people were taken into custody by federal authorities during an immigration enforcement operation outside a Home Depot in Los Angeles on Friday, according to reports.
Masked agents wearing Homeland Security Investigations vests descended upon a shopping center in the Westlake district of the city sometime before 10 a.m. PDT and began arresting individuals in the parking lot.
Footage shot by witnesses purportedly shows officers guiding handcuffed men to waiting vehicles and driving them away.

Activists reportedly attempted to confront law enforcement but were unsuccessful in thwarting the round-up.
“Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were called to the area following reports of an altercation and at some point, DHS agents became involved,” Fox 11 reports.
It is unclear how many people were arrested.
