Federal agents arrested a suspect who rammed a U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) vehicle and then crashed during an ensuing pursuit in Minnesota over the weekend, authorities say.
The harrowing incident unfolded in broad daylight on Jan. 11 in Minneapolis.
USBP was conducting targeted enforcement in the Twin Cities when they observed several vehicles “driving erratically and following them,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told Border Hawk.
“A U.S. citizen sideswiped a government vehicle on the highway, and then failed to yield. Agents attempted to immobilize the vehicle but the driver exited the highway. After breaking away from pursuing agents, she crashed her vehicle.”
Witness footage circulating on social media shows agents sprinting toward a heavily damaged SUV and yanking out a black female.

The woman continued to resist and was eventually lifted into the air by several agents, carried to a waiting federal vehicle, and stuffed inside.
Hostile bystanders hurled obscenities at agents as they departed the scene.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital for a medical evaluation.
She was subsequently arrested and will likely face federal charges.
“Secretary Noem has been clear: Any rioter who obstructs or assaults law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” DHS said.
