A suspected illegal alien was arrested after he allegedly ransacked a cell phone store this week in Florida and stole thousands of dollars of merchandise, authorities say.
Aaron Sucraymundo, 19, is accused of breaking into a telecom shop in Bonita Springs on Sunday morning where he grabbed smart phones and accessories and destroyed the business in the process.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says deputies arrived on the scene and Sucraymundo fled on foot.
An LCSO K9 tracked Sucraymundo to a nearby residence where deputies took him into custody.
Footage of the brazen smash-and-grab, along with Sucraymundo’s arrest, has been circulating on social media.

Deputies found eight stolen iPhones and charging cords in a room at the residence.
Sucraymundo was charged with burglary of a business, grand theft, and criminal mischief.
He also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for a prior misdemeanor charge.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement lodged a detainer against Sucraymundo, indicating he may be in the country illegally.
