During a protest outside the Treasury Building this week, Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) took a shot at new media being allowed into the White House.
“Replace the regular news with propaganda. You see, take the mainstream press throw them out and put in the right wing crazies to mislead the American people,” Merkley said.
He also called Russ Vought (nominee for director of Office of Management and Budget) a white nationalist and claimed he ‘despises the working people of America.’
