The Telegraph’s Chief Washington Correspondent Connor Stringer was in attendance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner when a gunman opened fire in an apparent attempt to assassinate the President of the United States and/or members of his family and cabinet.
The U.S. Secret Service “were so decisive in what they did, and they saved lives on Saturday night, without a doubt,” Stringer told Border Hawk during an interview at the White House on Monday.
"They (USSS) were so decisive in what they did, and they saved lives on Saturday night without a doubt."

Cole Tomas Allen, 31, appeared in federal court to face three charges: attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, discharging a firearm during a crime of violence, and interstate transportation of a firearm to commit a felony.
