A tiny hamlet in Switzerland with just eight residents is on the verge of being flooded with 150 ‘asylum seekers,’ according to reports.
Auboden, a settlement in the canton of St. Gallen where two brothers and their families comprise nearly the entire population, has been targeted by Swiss authorities to receive a shocking number of ‘refugees.’
In April, the six adult inhabitants of Auboden were informed that the Trägerverein Integrationsprojekte des Kantons St. Gallen (TISG) had purchased a former seminar and event center just feet from their homes and would be using it to house migrants, Blick reports.

Daniel Grob said he could have been okay with up to 40 new neighbors but that 150 is beyond comprehension.
“We really have nothing against refugees. But 150 asylum seekers? In this small town? That’s just too many!” asserted Grob, who resides in the hamlet with his wife and their two young children.
Grob’s brother Stefan and his partner Bettina live in the house next door and are equally as disturbed.
“It’s totally disproportionate for this small village,” said Bettina.
The Grobs have repeatedly appealed to TISG to scale back the invasion of their hamlet, even inviting 75 municipal presidents from the organization to a general meeting to voice their concerns, but were flatly rejected.
TISG officials say they “certainly heard” the Grobs’ request but are pushing forward anyway, blaming exorbitant costs to settle the migrants elsewhere in the canton.
The first ‘refugees’ are slated to begin arriving at the end of the year.
The Grobs are now working with an attorney to explore their legal options and officials from the conservative SVG party are pushing for federal intervention in the matter.
