An unruly bum who wandered into an eatery in Washington, D.C. was quickly arrested by local authorities, illustrating a significant change in law enforcement operations in the nation’s capital.
On Friday afternoon, a homeless man who barged into Shake Shack in Union Station was hauled out in handcuffs just minutes later.
The vagrant crashed into a trash can and then a table where Border Hawk White House Correspondent Wid Lyman was eating dinner before sitting on the floor, with no apparent intentions of ordering or paying for food.
A female customer offered to buy the man a meal, but Metropolitan Transit Police entered the burger joint moments later and removed him from the premises.
